Hi...i'm new to the forum but i've been reading your incredible knowledge on these wonderful cars and alrady learnt so much from it - thank you.

I've been considering buying a 360 spider (manual) having sold my 993 c4s. The major hurdle i;ve found is trying to get a decent range on pricing (easier with porsches as so many change hands). I;ve read the discussion on the 430 pricing (130-150k is amazing but no doubt the economy is dictating that)...anyway i wanted to ask your opinion on fair range on this 2002..."buy it now" seems high compared to other 360 prices seen on this forum. As usual your thgoughts are well appreciated!

if its well maintained and up to date with campaigns, records etc etc ( no bad history)
I think the price is a little high but pretty fair.

Its a 6 speed :) :), has daytonas, upgraded wheels (to some).......no challenge grill.

    Car looks nice.

Remember that nicely optioned and well maintained 360s (especially '02 and later) will always command higher prices. Most owners know this and act accordingly. Looks like a very nice car so best of luck!

I like this car a lot. I know from experience that a 6 speed m.t. is rare especially with the seats, colors, etc just the way you like it.

With that being said however, I think the price is still too high. I would think 100 or so is a reasonable upper figure for this one. It is at a dealer so they charge about 10-15% more than an independent or a private seller.

I know first hand of a 6 spd 05 430 red/tan spider that was sold for 150 by an independent a few months ago so their asking price is too high for an 02 360 with almost 17K miles.

If you really like the car don't let a few thousand stop you, but 10-15K...That is another matter at least for me.

    Good luck.

I'm typically not a black color fan because the lines are hidden but that color w/ those rims in a spider is HOT.

    Buy it or I will;)

The car looks great. I just took delivery of my 2004 Spider yesterday so I am up on pricing on the 03's & 04's. Pricing... Low mileage (3- 10,000) RED 2003 spiders are available for about $100- 105K, 2004's are about 5K more. BLK is worth less than red (discount). The major service adds another 3- 6K, depending upon what needs to be done. Whatever you do, make sure you buy someones. The only regret you will have is if you don't!

That looks like a really nice car. Those wheels look good on it. Some people like the stereo stuff, but personally, I think the engine sounds better and the radio is somewhat useless because of the road and engine noise. $118k is way too much. I think $95-$100k is the right range. I just bought an 02 spider Argento/blk 6 spd 11k miles with tubi, challenge grills, elec seats, and shields for $82k. But it needs belt service. But the car was basically in perfect condition. So figure $86k from private party. Probably must add $10k for buying it from a dealer. But sometimes if the right car comes along you must pay a bit more to get it. You may not find another one in the color, condition, mileage, features you want. So what's a couple thousand more?

    Good luck.

Wow, $82K makes my 3 year plan about a 12 month plan! That is a good price to hear for us dreamers and potential buyers.

I got a very good deal from a really nice seller. He doesn't really need to sell, but I think he is getting a 599 and wanted a good home for this car. So I basically stole it! And I can say, just go get it. What a great feeling when you are driving one of these. I've been a Porsche guy for a long long time. Ferraris are completely different. So much more soul!

I totally agree. No comparison to Porsche in my experience.
