    Hello !

A friend of mine is looking for a 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB/ 2 cam, long nose, with an all alloy body.

How much does that cost ? We have not a specific idea of the price.

The one we have seen is fully restored in 2005 by Ferrari.

    Thx !

Under those given conditions, my ballpark is one million US$ because I happen to own one right now. If you have interest, PM me and we can talk. I may or may not let her go. w/ smiles Jimmy

Oh, I read the whole advertisement, but that's from a "Used Car Dealer"!!! :D :D :D

If that story is true, personally I would have the Factory correct it and add the little Seal they have in Classiche!

I won't be doing $1.1M worth of homework anytime soon!
    Beautiful machine though...

I only buy 'North American' cars...LOL!

    Hope you are well!

Per that description two of them were retained by the Factory and ended up with engine numbers ONLY....swapped.
    By grinding and restamping.

Correct internal engine number remaining, showing it IS the correct engine......odd.

But you get hi-po cams and pistons, from the deal.....

I have a hard time imagining 'why' that would occur.....Marcel?

Cavallino #9 lists 6003 as a 6 carb and as a homologation car. One of the first 275 GTB's made. It is odd that that engine would end up in a long nose, maybe the 12th one made, 450 cars down the line.

How many 275 GTB models would have that 810/64 stamp?
