48 Golden Egg from Egg Harbor, built in the 80's ?? A fine boat with great workmanship then. Sad it went bust.
Have a guy that keeps the wood up for me. It's 48' Egg Harbor "Golden Egg." Twin 8v92s (765hp each) turning 30 X 30 props. Cruises at 27kts, using 65GPH. Going to Catalina tomarrow to goof off.
Sorry for the lateness in posting pics, been travelling a lot! She is almost done, still some fine tuning on the props and water filtration....otherwise she is 95% done! She is awesom and sounds just brilliant! She is an 80 circa late 90's. The boat changed size in the early 2000's to the 82, distinguished by larger windows, and generally pushed along by twin 2000HP MAN motors and arneson drives compared to the 80 which runs 3 1000 HP motors. 1.5 million ish for a 90's model...2.5 to 4ish for a 2005-2008. Big thirsty girls!

They are quite sexy. I was out on a powerboat once and we saw some guys out on one of them. Turns out the guy I was on the boat with (best friends' dad) knew the guys. We went onboard that thing and just found it the most beautiful thing. I loved it. It had horrible leopard skin seats inside though.
I have a buddy in Fl that has one of these that he length-ed a few feet. I have been out on it a few times and he loves the damn thing to death.
