I just bought my tickets for Concorso Italiano. (I'm coming to California baby!)
FYI, today is the last day for the earliest discount on Concorso tix. ($80)

Who is going? (Calling Robert Garvin!)

Any recommendations on an inexpensive place to stay? I'm coming out with a buddy who is a serious car nut and fellow Ferrari owner.

What else is a *Must Attend*?

The real reason to go is the Monterey Historic races!! Concorso is just something to do on Friday! If you are going and want to go inexpensive, try the Los Laureles Lodge. Its just over the Los Laureles grade which starts just outside Laguna Seca and goes over the mountain.... one HOOT of a drive! Even in a rental car. We're not racing Historics this year, gonna concentrate on GT1 and TransAM so there will be at least 3 more rooms open.

    Its all right here!

Its a new show this year, General Racing is out and the show is being run by HMSA and SCRAMP.

I believe the featured cars are Formula One this year... which really bums me out. I love seeing the old F1 cars. I may just have to sneak away for the weekend as a spectator this year... depends on the SCCA schedule in August.

Do a google search for "Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion" you'll get all you need.

The Portola hotel is a good place. My wife and I stay there when we are in Monterey. The big auction is held there and I promise you will see some staggering cars parked out front on display for the auction. It's not too terribly far from Pebble so no worries.
