    What's an airbook? Sounds intersting.

As to the point of the product, it's a bigger screen, which makes reading and watching and playing games and browsing a much better experience. The keyboard is for occasional, short bursts of typing, I think. For anything more, it would be horrible.

My apologies - You are correct.

But, the bottom line remains the same - The silly "blue box" won't appear whenever you want to run Flash content, which has gotta be good right?

No, the blue box will still appear. iPhone / iPad does not have a Flash Player. All you can do as a Flash Developer is build an iPhone application using ActionScript vs. Objective C. So it has nothing to do with being able to view Flash content on the iPhone.

Oh dear! Once again, I stand corrected. Thanks for the clarification.

Why the devil hasn't someone done a Flash player for these things? My guess is people would even pay for one?.....

    Cheers,
    Ian

It's really a business thing between Apple and Adobe. If Apple had a Flash player, developers could bypass the App Store and just download Flash Apps - that's not something Apple wants.

Basically there would be a standalone Flash player and then you'd go online and download a .swf which would be an App and use it inside the Flash player? Seems like its more hassle than it'd be worth to go through all that for an App. Is there any size limitations on flash?

.....there may be hope yet. Turns out Fujitsu has an open trademark app on the name iPad...filed months before Apple filed.....in Trinidad and Tobago....(gives you some scheduling priority.....)
