Causeway Bay. Funnily enough, I have seen it before, but driving. That's a 250GT SWB on the trailer this time. Whoever owns these cars, I salute you.

Hey, Fluffy do you have any more pictures of that Toyota Trueno behind the 16M? It looks like a particularly example. Great pics, btw. Here is the outstanding car I saw yesterday: also...
When did you see this? I was walking in Chai Wan with a friend on Friday and the same one (I presume) was in the SPS service center. They also had a Zonda F, which was the first I've ever seen. My favorite car in the world, and I finally saw one. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Guys, a serious post. We lost a serious petrol head on Sunday in a fatal crash at ZIC on T8. Stephen Fan is a well known and respected Porsche, Ferrari, Lotus and Formula Renault owner and racer. Stephen was a passionate CS owner (his 599 and Scuderia seemed to only increase his love of his CS which he owned from new as a registered car). To the best of my knowledge, Stephen was not active on fchat. He was the Chairman of the Hong Kong Lotus Club. RIP Stephen. Best wishes to Wendy and family. For anyone that wants to leave a message for Stephen, Wendy has started a Facebook group "In Loving Memory of Stephen Fan"
No, "regular" F. Cinque has a roof scoop. Never knew him, but it's always sad to lose a car guy. RIP.
OMG. I didn't know him personally but he was just answering some of my questions on another board as of a few days ago. Was always very helpful and kind. Shocking...may he rest in peace...
No surprise - Stephen was very generous with his time on anything to do with cars, radio controlled helicopters and dogs. He is a legend in the Lotus world
Was he driving the silver lotus that day? i knew this story on the present day but didn't know how he crashed...
He was driving his Formula Renault during a formula open practice session. A much slower Formula Geeley pulled in front of him without checking mirrors and launched him airborne at 180+. Died on impact with the fence
very sorry to hear of such sad news, I've never met him and sounded like he was a true petrol head to the core. God bless.
Similarities with the Series II I can see are: - Possibly straighter (than the Cali.) lines on the front radiator - Movable windows on the A-pillar - Pininfarina badge on the lower front-wing Although, it has many cues of the California over the Series II: - Front wing air intakes - Deep, covered headlights - Grille mounted fog-lamps - Bulging rear arches (much more so than the Series II) - Short rear overhang - Same two silver bolts on the bottom of the chassis on the side - Low front indicators Although I understand that in this period, no two F-cars were entirely the same, IMO all the above points suggest the car to be a California. Is there anyone on the forum who knows this car that can enlighten us? I don't think you can start blaming parties in these kinds of circumstances otherwise you open a big can of worms. I should hope the other driver had no intention of causing an accident and was probably mortified when he heard the result. Surely it's penalty enough having to live with the fact that you were indirectly responsible for causing such a thing to happen. At the end of the day, motorsport can be a dangerous and sometimes lethal pastime. Tragically this incident resulted in the latter. Although it doesn't make it any easier for the people involved to live with, any and every racing driver knows the risks they take when they venture onto the track.
