    WOW...that's pretty low to sell a boat anchor in that kind of condition, especially direct to another owner on Fchat.

    What on earth is the reason for not taking it back? very poor...

    Heck once I sold on Ebay one of my mom's Fendi handbags and took it back just because it wasn't quite what she wanted, despite all the pictures!

    Indeed! - That's a lot of what I find so surprising.

    Reminded me of the only "commercial" transaction I've done here - The seller said "I'll send you the book and an invoice, if you like it, pay me. If not, send it back"

    I liked it and sent him the check in pretty short order - I wouldn't want to be "outed" as a low life..... communities work that way IMHO.

    He's done.

    Work something out - Matt seemed to be more than willing to negotiate. Even a simple "I'm sorry dude, I'm flat broke but promise I'll get back to you" would have called off the lions herein.
