Interesting, this is from the post:

    Power options
Cruise control Power locks Power windows
    Air conditioning

I assume he means Italian cruise control!

Like I said, I know nothing about these but wouldn't the parts be worth at least that much?? I realize it is probably a bogus ad, but if it were real it seems pretty decent. I've taken calls where people post bogus ads on Craigslist. Say your neighbor's dog puts one too many deposits in your yard, these people post ads for their cars real cheap and flood their phones with calls for a few days. It's funny in a sick way........;)

    Sounds like a steal.
A QV taken apart is worth more than that just in parts.

I don't like the aftermarket wheels. It might be worth saving but figure about 15 to 20 grand depending on the breaks to get it back looking good again -- worse if it needs engine or tranny work. It doesn't say if it's running and there is no mention of rust.

I think it's worth saving by someone but you need to see it. I expect at that price it's going to be in pretty poor shape. Honestly, there is not enough information here to really guess but it does appear cheap.

    Refer to post 2 $13,500 308 QV

I bought this ferrari, it has new paint and no rust. I put in the new fuse blocks with the new style fuses and magically it came alive, a new fuel pump, filter, oil etc,
exhaust, gas lines and turned the ignition on and what you know it fired right up and runs.

A very good looking car. 83 qv in west chicago suburbs.

More expensive. I think it said $15,000 instead of $13,500.

I actually contemplated taking a trip up to look at the car when it was first posted on CL. The new ad has been deleted and I am bit confused. I see where the poster stated that he purchased the car did some minor bits and had it back up and running. Now people are saying that the heads are off, I assuming this was stated in the new ad. Anybody know what the story is? I am curious as to what I would have gotten myself into if I had purchased the car.

Just a guess, but if it's true that the heads are off, it may mean that a timing belt broke and valves are bent. If true, it's a very costly repair! The 308 is an interference engine!

Again, just a guess as enough information isn't provided.

While that's all true, the real question is:

    Would it still disperse viagra?

The last ad stated the car needed head gasket(s?) is what I remember. It sounds to me like the fellow invested some time and $ to get it running then discovered this little surprise.
