I don't think he meant the paint cost 100k..but the car with the paint he wants comes with 100k worth of options..i might be wrong

No one called me to spec. The specing season only happens later. I am often at IA so I asked for details. Just go ask. I think details only out yesterday.

That's because it's not a Ferrari color. Ferrari out sources it to Maserati to paint.

Just finished the Ferrari Owners Club event to Resorts World Sentosa. 80+ participants. 35 Ferrari in 3 convoys led by Chinaman Kwok, KopiO Tim and yours truly. Members had a tour of RWS 5 hotels n the ballroom that sits 5000 etc. At the end members were treated to a talk by Steve Slater on F1. Overall an enjoyable albeit tiring day. Thanks to the Ferrari brudders who participated.

Good call; still trying to find my frozen balls... The car I saw from the front was a dark gunmetal type colour so the gaping mouth wasn't so obvious.

    Really?! Lucky bugger...

Was in Geneva; then Liverpool (obvious reasons); London today and off shortly to the Emirates to be a Gooner for the day!

You are joking right? A 2k difference to sway people away from the official agent? Methinks surely you jest...

Truly? Anyone we know? Would love to see them in the flesh.

I think HSM showed their hand too early expecting the car to be 1million. This was what what the pundits were predicting. On retrospect it was IA that coined the 1million number. A sly move(??) that not only surprised the market but has now also caught out HSM w the 920k number.Just my thoughts.

I never thought it would happen, but my convoy complained that I was too slow! It was a solid turnout though ., v good to see everyone particpating

if they can get their hands on cars then they may have an advantage. throw down a deposit now with IA & earliest can get your car is Q2 2011, or Q2 2012 for a Spider. That's a long wait!

I reckon you're right .. THS played a great poker hand & full kudos to him .. now how do I get my name further up the list?

Well? As a convoy leader u must always cater to the slowest denominator. U cannot please the fast one. Take Arj, he was very happy to help out... and we know he can be fast. Unless u telling me he was complaining? hahahaha :D

U know? I won't be surprise if there will be more F458 allocations than earlier mentioned. IA knows how to play the game. :)

guess a lot also depends on spec level n omv of PI v IA. anyway this kind of healthy competition can only be good for buyers. helps keep prices in check...sort of.

This is my understanding... the PI car is what is called the UK spec car.. which come with LED steering wheel, shields and stitching.
The true difference between the two, comparing durians to durians is then $25k

I thought it was closer to 1mio haha. Well, it may not drive like 800k but it certainly looks like a piece of art that's worth 800k :)

no Arj was well behaved .. but on AYE I was told to slow down to 90km/h by one of the drivers, whilst everyone else complained upon arrival at RWS

if they can speed up the process then I know someone willing pay .. but honestly I have a problem paying 100k deposit for something I wont see for over a year

I was surprised that you turned up as we were parking .. next week I'm overseas so can't do the desaru run
