    Hi Guys,
I don't know what US Air Force bases look like but in Switzerland there are no fences and the public road is about 30 yards from the tarmac. A good occasion to make pictures, even if the weather was pretty dull.

I made a report with about 50 HD pictures of the Hornet, that you'll find here
    http://www.arthomobiles.fr/WEF2010/WEF2010.htm
    and it is pretty amazing

    A teaser below
    Cheers
    Nicolas

    Nice pictures.

Hopefully, they will buy the F-35 in a few years.

amazing for a country with such strict speed limits there are automatic cameras every few miles hidden and you will get a ticket even if just a few kph over. If you go way over the speed limit tickets can be hundreds of thousands based on your income.

    great close pics!

Yes, the Hornets are very very loud. When I went to the airshow last May at Andrews AFB in Maryland (home of the executive jets for the President), they had the Hornet, Thunderbirds (F16s), Raptor, etc. The Hornet was by far the loudest of all the jets (planes for that matter) that day. The Blue Angels were really loud when they came to my town as well...I never got tired of them soaring over the roof to my place, though. ;)

    Fiorana would be nice...:)

I get these flying past my office window most days. Bodensee is one of the few places they can stretch their legs.

BTW Rob don't believe all you read about swiss traffic laws ;)

Nicolas & Michiel - thanks for sharing these :)

Nicolas, I always enjoy seeing your automotive photos but you touched on another area of interest (for me and many others). Cheers!

glad to hear that, it was a first for me and a nice change from cars. Now, back to my primary passion: in two weeks, i'll be in Maranello to chase the 458 in the streets :)
