It a car I built for my son. (the 914 is for my daughter) The 911 is a 1972 which is the year I'm born and the 914 is a 1974 which is the year my wife is born. The 911 is the 'E' model with a side oil filler door. Only made for about 6months as gas jockeys filled the oil res with gas. Porsche relocated the filler to under the engine bay. The 911 was a full restoration but the 914 is original with 50,000km purchased from Getty Lee from the Band RUSH
Nice toy box Pepe! Who knew, all those toys at Chestermere. I grew up spending long summer days at "Chesterslough" waterskiing and enjoying the warm sunny afternoons. It sure has changed over the years mind you. It used to be that the houses were just the ones that lined the waterfront! Chris
Pepe - Don't ever change the color of that 914 - it's a classic for sure. I've got two 75 914's and will be keeping them forever. They are becoming so rare now. I'm in Chicago and will easily see 10+ Ferrari's before I ever see another 914 on the road. Anyway, where do the extra cars get parked? Got another garage?
Thanks for the link: I like this view of the collection: http://slaviccollection.com/les_voitures/toutes/collection.html
I keep my 1960's cars at my office/shop, and I have another garage that I rent for my Viper, Lotus Esprit, C6 Vette and AMG Mercedes.
Pepe: Could you please post a link or give us a point of contact for the 360 rug/mat that you have between the cars. I did an e-bay search and could not turn up anyone making those mats. Thanks--Bobert
Would lover to Bobert but this was a one-off. Guy I bought it from had it made. Sorry. He sold it to me for $1,000 plus shippnig but I think was worth it.
great story! I'm a 1969 myself and have looked for a Great 69 but the only one I have right now is my 69 SS Camaro. Still looking for a Perfect birthday year car for myself as well and I hope my son has a love for cars as yours must.
Thanks for your post. It's a Canadian car (in Km's too!!!) 1983 QV. Everything is for sale... price has to be right though.
I just noticed the mirrors though...they look like the American cars. Does the Canadian model have the small bumpers and no diaper in the rear?
This article was in the LA Times last week: Ferrari owner's dream garage grinds neighbors' gears Holger Schubert built a 10-foot bridge to connect his sports car's living-room parking spot to Tigertail Road. But, now, residents are complaining that the structure was improperly approved by the city. http://articles.latimes.com/2010/feb/04/local/la-me-brentwood-garage5-2010feb05 Image Unavailable, Please Login

Diaper.... The American 308s have that huge grill/shield under the bumper covering the exhaust, whereas the Euro versions do not.
