    As always, looks fantastic Morry. If I order a real one it'll be black too.

    Thanks. Just like the Enzo, the 458 looks really aggressive in black.

    that is just ridiculous. And by that I mean amazing. I've seen the mclaren models, the enzos, all the stuff you have done before, but for some reason this one made my jaw drop.

    On your web page you say that this model is also available as a Spyder. Seeing as you work from blueprints supplied by Ferrari does that mean you've already seen prints of the Spyder? Is it going to have a folding hard top as some have speculated? :)

    I'm glad you all like it. Keep in mind most of the models we sell are to the owners of the cars and they tend to have different budgets than the average enthusiast. Then again we also sell many to Ferraristi who appreciate the finer things and the costs associated with buying something handmade. Each model takes over 200 hours to build after a few thousand hours of design, so the price is really quite reasonable if you consider these on 3 levels;

    -cost per hour,
    -relative cost of 'artwork',
    -percentage of the value of the real car, ie. consider the model as one of the several expensive options on the real car. (The stripes on an F430 Scuderia cost twice as much as this model!)

    We will be producing the 458 Spyder soon - BUT I have not seen anything on the real car yet. These are not produced simultaneously with the real car, but usually around the same time as the car is launched. So no info is released by Ferrari until the real car is out in the public.

    Other models available in this series include: Ferrari 599 GTB, 612 Scaglietti & Sessanta, California Spider, Enzo, FXX & Evo, F430 Coupe, Spider, GT, Challenge & 16M, 599XX, 365 GTB/4 Daytona, 250 TR, 250 GT California, F1 cars, as well as other marques such as Lamborghini Reventon, Gallardo LP560, Murcielago LP640, Audi R8, Aston Martin DB9, Nissan GTR and more.

    I have a question.

    Would it be possible for you to make a pic of all (one of each model) these 1/8 scale Ferrari's with you in the middle? :)

    The company that does them should start selling parts upgrade (Like aftermarket wheels, wings, bumpers etc..).

    Andrew these models are built to match so if clients send pix of their cars we will build the same wheels, bumpers, etc.

    Do they only do customs models ? My idea was that if they could build a range of cars ( like Autoart for example ) in a slightly smaller scale to reduce price and then offer a range of tuning/personalization accessories, id think they would make a lot of money.

    Every collector dreams of tuning their models to their taste.

    A few years ago, I toured their Old Sorting facility and it really wouldn't work for them. To mass produce 1/18 scale (diecast I assume - as opposed to resin) needs a real factory. They have a great place to custom make resin in low volume..and they are very good at it. They were great models when I sold 1/8 scale versions many years ago..and imagine they have only improved.
