Thanks for the lift Christian. Great pics. I heard on the radio that there were over 36,000 people, a new record for an F1 test. Some more atmosphere pics, copyright me. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great pics thanks. What is the pole sticking up in the air on the Ferrari and to a lesser extent on the Mclaren? New entertainment for the crowd, pole dancing after the race?
Great pics, Christian, thanks a lot! Does Bernie charge you an arm and a leg for access to the tests or is it affordable to go there?
It has a pitot at the top to measure airspeed. It's that tall so they can get it out of the flow coming off the car itself.
I said Button would be 4-6 tenths slower than Hamilton and he almost 7!!!! Wow it feels great being right!
I really dislike the extended aerodynamic engine covers. The Torro Rosso car looks like a billboard truck! Fugly!! Thankfully Ferrari, Mercedes and Williams aren't running them!
Great shots! Just look at those crowds for nothing more than pre-season testing. Amazing. Isn't it great to have those awful wheel covers off again!
+1 on both comments. Valencia is becoming an event in itself. The Brawn's emergence during testing in 2009 raised its profile significantly imho.
Merci au Perpignanais! impressionante... la Renault. j ai vu le tunel de la F60 tout en carbon, une sculpture.
The cars look so much better this year than last year, IMO. The Mercedes and Ferrari both look really badass. Banning those fugly wheel covers was a huge difference.
I agree except I cannot get over the length. Everytime I see a stright on side shot I think the look out of proportion. Mark
There was a moment when Alonso was chasing Button and getting closer lap by lap. The crowd was cheering as if it were a battle for first place in a race. In the end Button slowed down to let him pass. Copyright: me Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
