I'm a brand new 360 owner that comes from the Porsche world and we have the renntech forums with a wealth of information for those of us that enjoy working on our own cars. Is there a similar source of information for the Ferrari owners?

My guess is that not as many work on their own cars, but I'm sure there are some that do. An example would be belt service. Can I do this myself? I've read that there are write-ups on this but haven't been able to find them. Sorry if I haven't searched enough.

    Welcome!
You are right about some members here that do all the maintenance of their Ferrari. You will find a lot of excellent threads here on almost everything you will look for. Depending what you want to do just search for it and something good will pop up. Something you really need is the manual and here one member post a thread where you can download it for free or just buy it on eBay for 20 bucks. Regarding the belts the manual teach you on how replacing them but you will need a lot of specialized tools and some good skills.

    Good Luck and Welcome.

Anyone know if the versions available on ebay typically are "searchable" PDFs? I have a version which a very kindly F-Chatter allowed me to download from his network but I can't run a search on it. Would like to obtain a full working electronic copy which allows alpha search.

none that I know of but I did run my copy through an OCR program. Didn't make everything good but I can search. I started to cut out the other languages but that too is a problem in formating. Some day I will have it done.

Hi SkidKid, when you say you ran it through your OCR programme do you mean you printed it off and scanned it or did you find a means to effectively have the OCR programme "view" the soft copy?

    Thanks!

I put the PDF directly into the OCR program. Like yours my PDF is a scanned image, not searchable text. What comes out is text and images in PDF.
