    Nobody did.
A dealer in Houston/TX has collected down payments from several people and promised to deliver the car(s), once financing has been properly set up. So far, nothing has happened. During the Cavallino Classic I personally spoke to two people last weekend in Palm Beach, both VERY serious collectors and honest people, who both confirmed that they did make such a down payment but have not received the car. Mainly because the paperwork is still "missing"............
I think at this point it is better not to comment any further!

Tom Price from what I understand was close to a deal in mid-December pending financing. He had at that time placed a non-refundable $3MM deposit on 20 of the cars incl. the GTO, 275, 375, Lusso, etc, pending financing. He was seeking a large (obviously) loan backed by $60MM in collateral to complete the purchase. He was expecting to sell his existing GTO before Christmas. Wishing all involved much luck on the deal, if its still pending, its obviously complex and expensive to orchestrate and even more complex to consummate and even more complex and expensive to sort out if it goes all goes haywire.

So this collection is open for bidding? (At least untill paperwork is straight)

Is there an agent? Complete collection breakdown/details?

    Regards

    Mike

    Congrats to him.

Since we;re talking a bankrupcy here, the price and contents of the purchase should become accessible in the public domain. It'll be an interesting list!

Seems like a good deal! If its the true story,
The telegraaf, the newspaper that published the article, is known for making juicy-stories..

Congrats to Tom. I live in marin so will look forward to seeing some of the cars on the road. Saw him driving his GTO on the street last year and it made my day. Saw it at our car show two, but not the same as having it drive by you on the street. Gavin

I ve seen this GTO very often during his peparation days at Roelofs,
The car had a highly prepared GTE engine.
I was there in the moment they exchange the tree brakelines
cost of these lines were 1500 eoros (2000 dollar) result: 35 gram less total weight !
he won several Ferrari/Maserati challenge years
No 250LM or race Daytona had any change agains this car
    Very well engeneering.
Did the org matching engine also went over the ocean?
His own Modena trained mechanics were forbidden to work on this classics.
here some pics from summer 2007

A collection of 21 Ferraris has changed hands, and it's headed for the United States.

Car collector Tom Price, owner of Price Family Dealerships in Marin County, Calif., bought 21 classic Ferraris. The collection hit the market last year as Dutch vehicle-distributor Kroymans entered into bankruptcy.

Broker Thomas Hamann, owner of Hamann Classic Cars in Riverside, Conn., said he had been working to sell the collection of Ferraris since last May. The deal closed on Feb. 2, he said.

Hamann said this was one of the largest lots of Ferraris to be sold in recent years. A larger sale happened in 1992, Hamann said, when Swiss businessman Albert Obrist sold his collection of factory racing Ferraris to Formula One chief Bernie Ecclestone.

Hamann would not comment on the sale price of the Ferrari collection to Price. Speculation in collector-car circles puts the sale price at about $30 million. Hamann said Price intends to sell some of the Ferraris in the lot he bought.

The list of Ferraris bought by Price includes:

    -- 250 Europa GT

    -- 375 America

    -- 250 Boano

    -- 250 GT Berlinetta SWB

    -- 250 Testa Rossa

    -- 250 GTO

-- 275 GTB/4 driven by three-time Le Mans winner Luigi Chinetti

    -- 330 GTC

    -- 365 GTS

    -- 365 GTB/4 Daytona Coupe

    -- 365 GTB/4 Daytona Spyder

    -- 246 GTS Dino Spyder

    -- 365 GT4/BB

    -- 512 BB

    -- 550 Barchetta

The list of cars shown in some previous posts inadvertently omit:

    -2003 Enzo #129358
    -1996 F50 #106895
    -2001 550 Barchetta #122760
    -2005 575 Superamerica #
    -308 GT4 #

Both the 250 TR (#2059 GT) and 250 GT SWB (#3725 GT) are replicas/re-creations.

The 365 GTB/4 Daytona Spider (#13477) is a cut car which began life as a Plexi Coupe.

    The Boano (#0447 GT) is alloy-bodied, as is the 275 GTB/4 (#10311).

The 250 GT Europa Vignale (#0359 GT) has one-off coachwork, and was built for Princess Liliane de Rethy of Belgium.
