2010 Nuremberg Toy Show

Live video coverage should start on this today from what I understand.

here are some pics of the GMP Ferrari 512 S model master (in 1:12 scale). Looks quite ok. Seems we don`t have to buy the Mattel 512 Snow tires variant.

I hoped for a 1:18 scale version. How do you know it's 1:12?

 

I was there today. The 1:12 model is the master for the 1:18 diecast.

Thats what they do. Exoto brought 1/12th Chaparral masters for all their 1/18th scale models to the hobby show in Chicago a few years ago. I was hoping this was not the same. 1/12th would be fantastic!

Here are some pictures of the HW version (scroll down). Doesn't look too bad in these pictures (did they do something about the dreadful tires?) but what I don't like is that the livery is taken from how it is today, not how it raced back in the day.

WOW, looks great. But I wish it was 1:18, 1:12 IMO is just too big....

 

The final product will be in 1:18, this is just the master (confirmed by GMP on the webforum I linked to).

Thanks for the link. I noticed that there's a card with the 412P saying 'Kyosho Exclusive by GMP'. I didn't know they worked together?

500 euro isn't exactly cheap but you get a lot for your money and the only alternative right now costs more than 2,000 euro!

 

what about 1/12 finished product, AA, kyosho, tamiya...?
