Going off F430GB's suggestion this month's contest is.....

"Cars in Motion"

Go out take a picture over the course of the next month and upload it here, after that I will create a new thread and we'll let the voting begin. If you upload a picture and later want to use a different one just say which you'd like to be submitted or shoot me a PM before the contest ends.

Some of us are geographically challenged. Do snow plows counts? Are you trying to force me to go to Sebring?

Im going to buy when i run out of pictures, but fór now im going to look to see if i can find anything interesting to shoot maybe when i get back home from pennsylvania way to much snow around here not enough rich guys except in my hotel

 

Would it be too cheeky of me to ask if the start date could be moved forward to 6th Feb?

 

Hmm, I don't know, I think I will let the others here decide.

 

On second thoughts, leave it as is. Rules are rules.

I'm just being lazy having shot a load of cars on the 6th.

Part of the point is to get people out shooting, rather than raiding old shots.

 

That was kinda my thought but I didn't want to be a hardass on the rules.

 

With the amount of effort you put into this each month you can be as hardass as you like.

 

i had a nice idea for a shot the other day when i saw a pickup truck fly by me all over the road i was thnking a shot of his rear tires shooting the snow up would look pretty cool

 

really difficult to capture that in a "cool" way. Bright sun light, and very high speed shutter, otherwise it looks rough.

 

Let's give this a bump, deadline is approaching soon, and no images posted

 

I didn't even notice and February is gone. Looks like its time to go shooting this weekend.

 

So there's one day left in this contest and no pictures. Extend the deadline, or the winner from the previous month's contest pics a new topic for this coming month?

I've been so busy I haven't even touched the camera or had time to get any shots. Just thought I would check back in here and am surprised to see that everyone else must be just as busy!

 

Yeah, you guys want to extend it another month? Just starting to warm up here and I haven't had a chance to shoot anything in awhile.

I got a good panning shot of a Ferrari F430 Spider today, pisses me off that I can't enter it.

 

Why not?

The dates say Feb. 7th to March 7th. It's still March 6th.
