I'm looking for a 360 Spider, Rossa Corsa/Beige, F1, reasonable miles, well serviced, no stories, excellent condition and priced correctly in this market. Prefer a Southwestern US car. Any leads appreciated!

Post here, PM or call me at 480-455-0574

    Thanks, Mark

Thanks. I saw that one a week ago and I'm not into all of the 'stuff'.

I agree, it seems that only the spoiler, the wheels and the diffuser would need to be changed if you purchased it, how much would that run you, would that still be a "cheap" price?

are you talking about the one with the stradale stripe? if so there is a lot that needs to be fixed on that car. because of the 20' and 22" wheels the abs light will go on when on the brakes hard, the convt top doesn't work completely where the lid for the top doesn't go up all the causing the top to get stuck and also the lid doesn't hit a microswitch telling the ecu that the top can come up, they just lowered the car so going over bumps while turning will push the fender out.

They have another spider that is like a dark red that will need a major service but is a better buy then the other one.

I did a photoshoot of that car, and yes, I agree the wheels should be a smaller size, and the dealer will get working on that (last I heard about it). Going over bumps was a pain in that car, and also, since there's a extra piece in the front of the car, that's what gets scratched when it hits something. If you want pics of it, just pm me.

I think the car is priced accordingly. IMO, people get too hung up on price and overlook many other aspects of the purchase. It's optioned just about as perfect as can be for resale and has everything you want so why not buy the car?

I know someone that's been looking to buy for almost TWO years! He passed on his perfect car because he thought it was too expensive...guess what, the dealer wholesaled it to another dealer for more money than his retail offer and then they retailed for even more money!

Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

I would be patient....it probably won't be too long before you can find one that you can steal from some former real estate mogul or some other desperate person who has lost their shirt.. ;)

FWIW, if you find the right car but it's priced 10% more than you think it's worth, you are only depriving yourself.
Do you intend to keep it forever? if so then $10k over a long time is no big deal.
If you're going to buy it, drive it 5 miles and park it, find a crappy car for cheap and spend $1,000 for a decent detail job so you can show it off standing still.

Bottom line, get the car you want. Money comes and goes but memories are yours forever.

    Thanks for the input all.

I tend to keep my cars 12-18 months, then move on to try something else. I like to buy right so I don't loose as much on the back end.

Maybe a 360 will change my length of ownership habit, not sure. I always think 'this is the one', but then decided I need something different. I have lots of Porsche's in my past, a 330 GTC that I owned for a couple of years and a bunch of other vintage cars.

Sold my Cayman S over the weekend, so now I'm anxious. Still considering the car linked above...

12 months is barely enough time to discover how the car turns in, while attacking your favorite road. If you only keep cars for a year or so, you will lose money. Period. End of story. Buy the best you can afford and consider the rest as the part of doing business and go enjoy yourself. It could all be gone tomorrow. For the sake of squeezing the last few grand from a deal, you are missing out on the experiences that you will never forget.

Way to go! Looks like it has "everything" (sport exhaust, shields, opt wheels, challenge grill, low miles, etc) I think you got a good deal considering all the options the car has and low mileage.

Hope we all see it at our next C&C gathering March 6th.
