    so, you could either be consistant and forget Valentine's day........or, do the right thing and 'carpe diem'.......

    I'm one of those who typically forgets, but I find I need to manage my Mrs's expectations for occasions. I get jewelry, she expects jewelry. I typically forget...she's happy I remember to buy a card.

    I got a card already, so I'm ahead of the game this year. But thanks for reminding me to do something!

    I asked my wife what she wanted for Valentines Day this year instead of the usual roses, etc. So she suggested that I get her a nice wrist watch instead.

    I told her that there was absolutely no need for a watch as we have a clock right there on the stove exactly where she should be right now..... cooking my dinner..... :eek:
