The opinions of those who responded to my "360 as a 20 year keeper" thread were pretty strongly that I should get a manual 6 speed.

Does anyone have a 246 and 360 who can tell me how the clutch pedal efforts compare on the 2 cars?

Hate to sound like a girly-man, but I find that my interest in having a stick shift car is inversely related to the clutch pedal effort.

If you've ever replaced the Dino clutch cable, you know how much of a difference it makes in the feel. A new one works like butter. The old one changes so slowly its difficult to know anything's different but it does get tougher and tougher to move over time.

I think trying to compare the two is too difficult to do because the Dino's changes so much depending on condition of the cable, throw out bearing and pressure plate. It's another reason why hydraulics tend to be more consistent and allow easier foot pressure for maximum feel with minimum effort.

Aside from that, I cannot tell you. I've not driven a 6 speed 360 but I certainly have experienced a good and poor working Dino clutch cable.
