    Great photos,

Does anyone know how or where to get an entry form? or do you just turn up.
I'd love to take my 328 GTS down there.

    Hi Maurice,

Can you tell me a bit more about what it is, please. Do you need to be a member of the FCA to enter?

I'm not a member of the FCA, but I am in two other clubs.

I'd love to go with my 328 GTS.

    Cheers,
    Ross,

Auto Italia is an annual event held in April in Canberra open to all Italian cars. It's been running for 20? years or so. Lots of cars and bikes every year

It's not an FCA event, and you don't need to be a member of any car club to enter ( but most people are members of their respective marque clubs )

OK, so you have a Ferrari and omitted to join the FCA, but managed to join two other car clubs instead ?

Nothing stopping you from attending, entry fee is $10 or $15 per car, all the info will be on the AutoItalia web site.

    Hi Mike,
Thanks for the info re Canberra. I'll most likely go.
I own a 328 GTS which I have recently had a bare metal respray, new carpet and all trim recoloured to the original "crema" and I am very proud of the result.
I am a member of the Clubman Drivers Club of Australia, as I used to own a PRB, (which I unfortunately sold,) and am now almost finished building a Westfield/Arrow.
I am also a member of the Thoroughbred Sports Car Club in Sydney.
I did attend an FCA function as a potential member, but spent the day talking to myself.
    I didn't bother going back.
I was also put off by the $250 joining fee, along with $250 annual fee, which I felt was a bit over the top.

    Cheers,
    Ross

    Ross,
Hope you make it to Canberra, your 328 sounds like a stunning example.

With regard to the FCA, I've met plenty of interesting people through the club, and often the problem can be getting people to shut up. :), sounds like your experience was different though.

The joining fee is just to keep BlackJag out.

Annual membership is a lot less than $250,

    Regards

    M

    Thanks Maurice,
I misunderstood. I thought it was at Como in Sydney.

I'll pass this one up, but will definitely try my hardest to get to the day in Canberra.

    Cheers,
    Ross

    Thanks Mike,
I'm sure there are a lot of very nice people in the FCA. It was just a pity that I didn't meet any of them.

    not Whale beach again ??!!

I went on one of those runs with Bill Brown in the 275 that someone else owned, followed it through the national park, the sound of the V12 bouncing of the rock face was brilliant.

    Was one of KenB's runs

Re Auto Italia - help me understand this. Ferrari and Lambo owners drive to Canberra, pay money and spend all day meeting ACT residents. Is there a wet T-shirt comp or something?
