The 5.2 needs one extra bung for an O2 sensor.

The 2.7 has one O2 sensor up front and one thermocouple out back
The 5.2 has two O2 sensors and the rear bung is threaded differently.

The rear bung for the thermocouple is different? All o2 sensor bung threads are the same.

The rear bung on the 5.2 is different from the rear bung on the 2.7.

So considering there is no rear o2 bung on a 2.7 am I correct in assuming that you are speaking of the thermocouple bung?
