I apologize about being off-topic, me and Bill were involved in previous discussions about the Enzo in this thread if you look back a bit.

Probably makes sense to start a new thread on that one. I'd be happy to participate.

"Enzo on 'super steroids....'" I believe I've heard as compared to the CS? :)

I just found this thread today and now I'm hooked...
Can't wait to see the finished garage and the cars parked inside.
Congrats Bill - it looks like it'll be amazing.

Turn out fantastic Bill, really enjoyed this thread....looking forward to the shot with all the "kids" in there :)

The garage motor you chose is something I am considering. I want my garage doors to go straight up since I have the height....that would be one way of eliminating the overhead trusses and metal bars.

Any idea if your Liftmaster wall mounted motor might work on something similar to the following for a residence ? Any advice from those in the know would be appreciated.

Thanks Jas! We're getting very close. Maybe this weekend!

Check out the LiftMaster MJ Medium-Duty Jackshaft Operator for vertical doors:

    http://www.liftmaster.com/consumerweb/pages/productmodeldetail.aspx?modelId=704

This series lifts wood doors up to 250 square feet and 16 gauge steel insulated doors up to 120 square feet. They have heavier units that can do even larger doors.

Almost. It looks like we need another week or two for some detail work. But two came back today...

    Looks absolutely incredible Bill.

But maybe it would be best putting the 911 above the F40, just in case the CS develops an "Italian style" oil leak ;)

...It really looks even better than I expected. Absolutely bespoke, Bill. Very elegant.

    Well done.

...was that your CGT on Supercar's Exposed?

Thanks guys! We're looking forward to the Enzo and CGT moving in.

Yes, that was me and a little bit of Hollywood action for the Saleen. Here's some real footage. The CGT and Saleen are about the same...

    Bill,

The garage looks great! Certainly has a warm feel to it (just from the photos) so I think you've hit your mark there.

Read about the F40/RS drive in the other thread. Too cool, and I'm sure those kids will remember that for a long time. Great collection, excellent setting and glad to see you're enjoying them. Cheers!

Thanks! One key requirement in the design of the garage was to be able to get one or more cars on the road in just a few minutes. This weekend has been great for testing that requirement!

I can imagine how laborius that would become if you used them often (as you do) and had a bottleneck. Apologies if you covered this already (did a quick search and didn't see anything), do you have a trickle charger on each car too or just charge them up the old fashioned way? ;)

Great photo. ~23 years later and the F40 is still striking.

Yes, when you can get any car on the road in just a minute or two after "Let's go for a ride!" it's much more fun.

I agree on the F40! It's proven to be a timeless design.

I'll keep the RS and CGT on a trickle charger if I'm going away for 3-4 weeks. Those cars seem to drain the battery. On the Ferraris, I just use the battery switch. They seem to start fine even after a month of sitting. You just need to give the ECU a little time to remember what was going on.
