    Japanese and American beef both offer two different experiences. Japanese Kobe/Waygu is more about the velvetly texture and how it melts in you rmouth, very similiar to tasting premium sashimi.

    A proper aged American steak delivers an extremely intense "beef' flavor that no other beef producing country can offer.

    I disagree... the best of best steak I ever had was from Argentina. I remember that day very clear... brought tears to my eyes :)

    I haven't had a lot of Argentinian beef .. but wat I have had I wud rate as good as the best US grade

    I don't think its right or wrong... just preference.
    Anyway... USDA, Argentine or Japanese all top of my list.
