Japanese and American beef both offer two different experiences. Japanese Kobe/Waygu is more about the velvetly texture and how it melts in you rmouth, very similiar to tasting premium sashimi. A proper aged American steak delivers an extremely intense "beef' flavor that no other beef producing country can offer.

I understand what you mean... thats why I said top 2. I don't think its right or wrong... just preference. Anyway... USDA, Argentine or Japanese all top of my list.
