Thanks, That was awesome. I remember watching them race at Lime Rock when I was a boy Check out this E http://www.eaglegb.com/news_items/23-eagle-speedster---debut.html
I love the video. I love the 44 car. If I remember correctly, that car sold not too long ago for a really reachable price. I hadn't thought that it would be so relatively inexpensive and didn't persue it. What a nice piece of history and what a nice car.
I know the gentleman who has the rights to the Vicarage name here. His name is Tony Parkinson and he is a big Jag fan and a real nice guy. He did my 63 OTS when I lived in Miami and the car was done in Ft Lauderdale. He lives in Stuart now.

In 1999 when I bought my car Vicarage had a car for sale for 75K which was a 50% premium over a perfect example at the time. The Eagle cars are magnificent, but at 150,000 - 225,000 pounds($225,000-$350,000) they seem crazy. However, if they are getting it I'm very happy.
I agree - especially on the FHC cars. You can get good examples for a reasonable price. Mine is no show car, but I have a Series 1 and paid less than $30K (including all the work needed to get her road worthy).
