Gotta be honest, looks like they did their homework. Good looking car so far as replicas go. Couldn't do it myself personally but a nice alternative for those who feel they may never own the genuine piece.
Ummm...I think this is a real Ferrari spider posing as a fake...even the motor mechanisms sound the same as a real Ferrari....no way this is a MR2...it would cost more than $20,000 to reproduce a Ferrari spider that looks this real...LOLLLLLLLLLLL
Totally agree. Its a hoax or a fraud. So, these guys build such a perfect replica and don't do any better than a hand held camera phone video to try to sell it?
I was actually thinking the same thing after visiting their site and doing some research. If they spend so much time to make such a perfect replica, certaily they can do a better job of promoting it then using cheap video quality like that.
It sounds like a real ferrari, I assume it is a real one. if the guys were building a replica, they wouldnt put the front parking sensors, at least I wouldnt..so I conclude that is a fraud.

this is not the same car. There is no interior and there is no simulated engine detail cover. I stongly believe the posted video is a fraud. Just look at the details of the exhaust. Why would you build a replica with that? It requires complete re-engineering of the MR2 exhaust. And, how are you going to fit a Mustang V-8 into an MR2 chassis and still have it fit an 430 body? How do you fit the top between the engine and the driver's compartment without stretching the chassis? Here's another clue: a California replica only after a few months of it being on the road? Oh, complete with working electronics, retractable top, another fake engine cover of the engine, "real" leather and stitching, and fake CCB's.... With enough work, you can make a man into a pretty convincing woman too.. but at the end of the day it still ain't the real thing baby... They obviously go to a lot of work to build that replica and it would probably fool a lot of people. But what's the point? It's still fake. Ray

Great news!! I just got an email from the guys at SR and they said I could have the new 458 version for only 250 dollars more! <insert rolling eyes icon here> ps, I think thats the same guy that contacted me by email last year. Said my next of kin died. He was in paraguay and was very wealthy. Sad, But good news, He left me 7.5 million dollars! Just needed to send them a few grand to wrap up some legal fees... I should be getting that check any day now!
