Scuderia Space Coast is celebrating our 1st Anniversary as an "official" club. Since we rather forgot about it until the last minute we are holding our shindig at casual fine eating establishment know as Hooters. We are meeting a little before noon on the 21st (Sunday) of February. If you are bringing an F-Car please let us know so we can reserve parking space.

    Hope to see you there!

I'm in. This will be my first time meeting up with SSC as I am a new Ferrari owner (83 GTS QV). I hope I can bring my car - she's in the shop and I'm hoping to have her back by then. Looking forward to meeting everyone. The Space Coast Rocks!!!

I believe we should organize a randevous between the SSC and the SSF at a location somewhere in between our roaming areas.
    Fred, don't you agree?

Great idea Alfredo, I've been to two of their events (trailered the car to one, flew in and had breakfast for another) had a great time at both events.......good group of people with earlier model F cars. They're almost 3 hours away from Boca, so half way would be around Vero / Fort Pierce / Stuart Area. Still a long drive, but I would do it!

I'd go to meet, but my Ginetta is not feeling well. I spent the past two weekends redoing the fuel tank / fuel lines and got it all back together last night.

Plugged the tank wire harness in to check the operation of my modified fuel gauge sending unit...check!

Ran the engine with the tank on the ground to check for fuel line leaks (had about half a gallon of fuel still in the tank)...check!

Went down the street to fuel it up (had a previous problem with the fuel breather line being kinked), checking to see if the tank will fill without the pump clicking off every 2 oz... check!

Turned on the ignition and the fuel gauge is reading about 7/8...good enough.

I get back home and smell some fuel. I thought maybe one of the fuel filler or vent hoses connections were not snug so I tighten them up.

The dripping seems to have stopped, so I put the wheel back on, and lower the car...

    The dripping starts again...

I get my daughter to operate the floor jack while I watch the fill port on the tank to see if the breather is dripping on it, or if the fill port hose has a leak...

    It is neither!

The filler port on the tank has a crack! F^%$!

So I get the car quickly on the lift, drain the fuel tank, and now I get to take everything back apart to bring my tank for repair.

Ah, repairs are simple aren't they???
    :)

See, you need a break dude. (I know, I just pulled the blower off the TR6 and I am going back stock. My old carbs are a mess!) Bring the 348!!!! Joe Rad's car needs a friend. It is always getting picked on by the 3x8s.

I'm sorry to say that I won't be down until March 12th and only as far as Orlando on that weekend, Braves at Disney. I hope to make it down with my car in the fall.

On another note, a friend of a friend who lives in your area recently purchased a Ferrari. I just got his email address today. Once I make contact I'll be sure to steer him to this site & thread if he doesn't know about it yet. More to follow, maybe in a PM to you Joe.

My 348 was sold to someone in coral Gables in May. :(
I'll see if Lisa wants to take a ride up there anyway, we can use the Scion.

Huge congrats to the SSF's first anniversary!!!

In only a year, ya'll have traveled your logo to farther places than most clubs could do in a lifetime!!

Yeah, Willie and I have been talking about doing an event with both clubs...........anyone have any good suggestions for a meeting point of interest somewhere in between???

I haven't been there in many , many years, don't even know if it's still open or a good drive for both the N & S folks but this use to be a pretty good place.

Not exactly halfway, but I liked the Waterway Cafe off PGA Blvd in West Palm. At least
it would give me an excuse to drive fast =)

The Port St. Lucie / Stuart area should be approximately half way, but I am not familiar enough with the area to suggest a meeting place that is any good.
    Anyone out there?
