What was the most unique gift you´ve received from your dealer?

I was taken to dinner and an NBA game.

 

They arranged (and paid for) my transportation from Bologna to Maranello.

 

I got a box of granola bars and a little model of my car.

 

I've never purchased fomr my local dealer.

But I have received an occaisional sales book, and they gave me a Race Team t-shirt, for Christmas.

 

I recently got a display model of my car (apparently based on my build order, though it didn't have the fire extinguisher , with personalized plaque) and a leather covered USB key fob with Ferrari logos and loaded with data.

 

A red apron with a Scuderia shield on the front -- officially licensed Ferrari item. Apparently so I would continue to bake things to bring out to the dealership on Saturday morning.

I bought one of the first Maserati Spyders sent to the US. I got a hand signed letter (yes, real ink) from Luca thanking me.

I thought that was really cool.

 

That would be neat.

With my car, I got a bottle of local wine and a cool wooden bottle casing with the Ferrari of Denver logo on it. Still have both displayed on my shelf.

 

Not a Ferrari dealer but one of the local sports car dealers. I was obsessed with Ferraris and dreamed of one day owning a 308. For Valentines Day ('98 I think) my wife phoned them and asked I they could take me for a spin in a Ferrari 308 as a surprise for me. Their sales manager agreed and we went there on the Saturday morning to go for the ride. Unfortunately the 308 had been sold so the guy takes me for a 15 min ride in a Porsche Twin Turbo. Boy, that car is brutal!

Anyway, 5 years later I'm actually in the market - and end up buying my 308 QV from the very same dealership and sales manager.

So their 'gift' paid off.

 

Very nice! I got a ferrari jacket but would have LOVED a watch. The dealership had a carbon fiber watch on display that I really liked, I'll probably go back and buy it sometime soon.

I got a keychain, but didnt buy my 308 from a Ferrari exclusive dealer. I love the keychain though. Some of you guys got some cool stuff though.

I don't have a dealer per se, but:

-Boardwalk Ferrari voted me the Dealer's Choice award for my 330 2+2 at the 2005 show. Got a really nice trophy.

-James Patterson gave me a Norwood Performance baseball cap. It's top-rack in my cap collection.

 

When I visted South Africa a few years back...I was given a key fob made from an Elephants foreskin....the beauty of it was that after a few rubs it expanded into an overnight bag!

A few issues had some really interesting production photos of the 308 series.

 

My local Mercedes dealer always puts two bottles of cold 'Mercedes' labled water in the cup holders and a bag of special M&M's with AMG written on every individual candy. They do this for AMG customers every time car is in for service, oil change etc......
