I am reviewing the purchase of a Red 84' 308 GTB qv. Good condition but not without flaws, speedo says 28,xxx miles. What is the premium because it is a "euro" car with no smog? Only changes made to get plates appear to be speedo to MPH? Thanks for help.

Usually if you live in California it's good to have the US because of the smog requirements every two years, otherwise EURO Is a better car between the two.

    $4,269.28.

With the smog it's $6,914.47 because smog is required in some states.

I think it really comes down to personal preference and condition. With two identical cars in identical condition, the euro should be worth more. However, it rarely works that way when buying a used car. There are too many other factors (color, condition, wheels, etc.) that will not be the same between cars. My advice would be to decide if you want a euro or US version first, then look for a car and buy the best you can afford. If you have no preference, then go on condition alone.

Has that been adjusted to the 2010 inflation rates?

Ah, good point, thanks. That's $4,311.97 and $6,983.62 then if you believe the gov't reports that we have about 1% inflation....yeah, right!
