    As always any list of this sort is a stupid undertaking and yes there are are some glaring mistatement of facts. No stock Bora ever went 175mph.

    But ... there are no clunkers on this list. I think most people would be happy to have a good running example of any of those cars in their garage.

    On my list It came down to Miura vs Mangusta and the Mangusta won. Mangusta is hard to beat.

    Mangusta = Beast
    Miura = Beauty

    Giuguaro did a masterwork, with gullwing doors...... FOR THE ENGINE, what a trully genius!!! A car, when you see one it exudes a "I'll kick you a*s, muthaf**r". I like both..... but Mangusta is more macho-car.

    Regards, Alvaro.

    Finally the Mangusta is getting it's recognition.... IMO that car is the most relevant design in all of exotic automotive history!!! The Miura, Countach, Bora, 8C and Iso Grifo also place extremely high on that list too. Some of the others on the author's list simply don't belong there. There is a clear muddling between subtle, sublime and ostentatious..... Did that make sense????

    I love the Mangusta, but the Carabo set more trends. Both great designs.

    Nice little set up. Hope to see your Mangusta this summer if im lucky. Maybe you can take it up to the Milwaukee Masterpiece Concours and display it.

    I agree.

    Drop the Enzo, Bora, and Murcielago from the list.

    Enzo is Fugly !

    Add the 288, F-40, and Miura.

    No Miura ?

    You have to be kidding !

    Not counting all coach built one off Ferraris..

    Cars that need to be on the list:

    250 GT TdF
    250 Lusso
    Miura S

    I think the Ghibli should be, at least, considered

    Do people really not like the F40 that much? One of my favorite designs ever.

    Me too.
    Was the last true Ferrari, built with no compromise other than pure funcion, a pure race car barely street legal.

    Please, add to consideration the Lancia Aurelia Spider, as one of the sexiest and most beautiful spiders ever built. Simple pure beautiful lines.

    I would have to add a Zonda to the list, it's definitely more exciting than the Murcielago and 8c.

    Built using the Lancia Montecarlo center section which won the World Rally Championship, the Montecarlo turbo also won the World Championship for Makes in 1980 & 1981 beating Porsche. Very versitle to win both on the track and stages.
