Always thought this was one of the most beautiful Ferrari's ever. But finding a model has been tuff. All I have found is a slot car. I'd LOVE a 1:43.

Solido or Verem used to make them, but ofcourse not as good as the models of today but still charming. The came both in spider and berlinetta version. The ones from Best are better. Possibly also Ixo or Fabbri?

    p.s. I have one in 1:18

Who made the 1:18? Was it a kit or die cast?

I bought it on Ebay but it's now also available through Scuderiamodelli.com

It's available as kit or built (I think it's resin).

I'm not sure who made it but at the recent Toy Fair in Germany it was displayed in the ABC Brianza stand (a placque said it was #2 of 25).

Fisher Models as stated makes 2 nice 1/24th scale 312P kits in spider and coupe form for $95.00. Tameo, Starter and Provence Moulage also made very nice 1/43rd kits of both types. The Provence Moulage is the best 1/43rd in my opinion. Classic Models made one in 1/12th scale kit form that requires alot of work. Scuderia Modelli makes one in 1/18th, but it also requires alot of work.

    Fisher kits:

Nice work. I like the Firestone tires. I always thought the PM kits body was closer to the original. I built a few of them when they were still in business.

Thanks so much guys. I want a built one, so it looks like Best is my "best" chance.

I'd love the one with no markings. Anyone have any leads as to who sells these? A quick Google search only got me other ones.

    Thanks.

I would try to find a Best model on e-bay. I think they have been out of business for at least 5 years....

If it is a '72 it's not the same car. Probably a 312PB. As far as I know the car I'm refering to was only from '69-'70.

No luck, but Replicarz.com has a bunch in 1:43.

Thanks for the links, but some of those places are crazy for a Best. $60-$90? I payed like $35-$40 for all mine, wow.

Well, if you decide to sell yours let me know, if I haven't found a more reasonable one maybe I'll just grab it.
