Obviously you guys were not paying attention to the conversation. But let's just keep it within them, and let them fight it out.

After the dinner, I woke up & thought about this. How about us Fchat Sg guys do some charity for the New Tiger Year?

The guy who's bought the most cars should write a BIGGER cheque & we can make visits, adoptions & hands-on, whatever that does good.

eg. instead of drives to T3, we end @ an orphanage or homes & instead of popeye's, we maximise our useless boots to deliver goodies to the less fortunate.

    Thoughts?

Thanks for the nice compliments, guys!

VanQ - I've moved on, and after this morning, may move on further ;)

Cai - It's a GT, not GTS. Only my uncle is fit to drive the GTS :)

I think it's a great idea! Last year's charity drive for the kid who had cancer was fantastic!

Jon, that would always be a great idea, letting these cars bring some joy to kids who may not, in normal circumstances, even get close to the cars.

Problem is - The legal aspects as issurance technically does not cover these events. ECC was discussing doing something like this and we checked the insurance part out. Anything happens and the driver could be exposed to a large lawsuit personally.

One other way is no drives for the kids but let them come up close and even sit in the cars. I know it is a bit of a let down but better than nothing.

Would be great if ECC, FOCS, PCS and the others got together for a re-make of that East Coast charity drive back in 2008. Something to make a kid's day.
