I wonder if this is Ralph's car. Or another black on in the state? Maybe another addition to the blue/white one in evergreen?
I thought 2 Black, Ralph Lauren, Telluride area Blue White, Richard Berry, Evergreen. But with this other spot of a black car it makes me wonder.
Perhaps he saw Berry's car and misidentified the very dark blue as black. Of course, Berry lives in that exact area. Lauren's car is not a permanent resident of Colorado and, to my knowledge, spends most of its time in New York.
In post #702 (page 36) there is talk of black Veyron that was photographed on C470. I think it maybe a car that is never driven and when it does, it gets posted here. This is the second time I have seen a black Veyron in this spotters thread. Not including your Ralph car spot a few years ago.
Today, at about 3:30 p.m., saw a (definitely) all-black Bugatti Veyron in Denver. The driver was leaving the Chipotle in the University Hills shopping center at S. Colorado Blvd. and E. Yale Ave. (about a mile south of I-25). Despite openly gawking in shock, we couldn't see the driver, yet we were only about 25 feet from the car as my husband's intentionally slow driving/gawking meant the Bugatti and our car ended up at the same 4-way stop in the parking lot just behind the Chipotle (by Ulta and 24-Hour Fitness, if you know the area). We certainly were wondering who would have that car in our humble part of town.
Good question. I remember it as having no plate in front and a colorful, multi-logo promo tag in back (Ferrari of Denver maybe?); my husband says Colorado plates, but I'm pretty sure he was too stunned to notice that detail.
Awesome! Thanks so much for posting the sighting. Very cool to know there's another Veyron around! I can't imagine Ferrari of Denver would have anything to do with this car (Lamborghini Denver sourced Berry's car) and these exotics typically come from all over the country so the owner can find the "right one" but who knows. Thanks again for posting!!!
Did it resemble this Veyron I saw in Scottsdale, AZ in March 2009? Note the 'Not for Sale' sign. http://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs228.snc3/21565_790200310249_16818734_44094831_7336515_n.jpg
Wow! I live right near that Chipotle. I can't believe I was in the presence of greatness and didn't know it.
Well, this one shocked us. We were returning from Denver today after attending the Enzo party with Derek Bell last night (great event BTW) when we spotted a silver 360 NB on US285/24 approaching Trout Creek pass about 1:40. We had just crossed south park where blowing snow had covered much of the highway with ice and slush at about 15 degrees. Our 4runner accumulated so much ice that I could not turn the wheels all the way when we got to Buena Vista. So, I hope the 360 fared OK or turned around. He possibly could have gone towards CS where US24 was probably not as bad though undoubtedly still very cold and windy. Anyone know this car? Dave
Ha! It's funny you saw that because that car was on it's way to us! We sold that car a few months ago to a gentleman that traded two Lotus Exiges for the 360. He put about 3k miles on it in the last couple of months and then traded it for a Mercedes CL65 we had for sale!
