Can anyone recommend a reputable upholstery shop in the Northern NJ area to recover front seats? Or if there is a firm that sells proper leather seat covers for a 3500 gt dometically or on-line? It seems one of the previous owner of my car had them re-done but they look more like the pattern from a Buick than the proper seats for a 3500gt. Many thanks, Jeff
Jeff, Try Classic Coach in Elizabeth. Simply visit the shop then make your decision. They did my Islero. http://www.ccferrari.com/service/index.html Joe
Elvezio in Cosenza, Italy is highly regarded for quality and authenticity, at least among Alfa owners: http://www.elvezio.com/ Their catalog lists numerous items for the 3500 GT. Reportedly they correspond readily in English and ship to the US with no problems. With the proper materials you shouldn't have difficultly finding a local auto upholstery shop capable of doing the job. If you are looking for the absolute finest work, which would probably be disproportionate to the condition of most cars, PM me and I can refer you to someone not too far away. Don
