Hey Harold. Let's talk on this as I'm interested in a set for mine as well. Ours should share the same specs being wide body.

I would say keep the polished look first & once you're bored, you can easily have it painted locally for few hundred bucks.

Ditch the E230 or rid the AMG badge (that's my call). I had a 240 some years back & put on the full kit as well then paint it Maybach black but I badged it as E88 :D

It was exported to S. Africa!

Looks like you're on the right track to exotic world ;)

Lung had a real E55 with lots of upgrades too.

Bud, this are beautiful. Saw them sometime back & love the way the lattice work opens up like a flower. Shall we?

O, does his R8 happens to be a manual unit? I just saw an A6 cabriolet. Pretty car.

Yep & apparently testing in S. Africa. It has gull wing doors, 6.0 & twin turbo which brings weight down.

Lung, KBS quoted me $320 for gas, brake and footbrake pedal, installation inclusive. Now is that a sensible price or am I getting ripped off?

I think its ok. I don't think you will get it at $250 if thats what you think its worth. Don't forget they are going to install it for you too.
