Part of interview with Felisa - ..he also confirmed that a next-generation Enzo supercar is on the way although it won't carry forward the Enzo name and will be limited to left-hand-drive only..

    http://www.italiaspeed.com/2010/cars/ferrari/02/599_hybrid/0302.html

So what do we know about this car? According to EVO interview with Felisa Enzo successor is to come before 2012 CO2 regulations will come into force. So it could happen in 2011.

Engine is slated to be V12 NA good for 800 HP or V8 TT good for 700 HP according to news in car webs. It is said that both engine options are testing and developing, but the final decision is likely to be V8 TT. Very lightweight and latest F1 stuff will help the car to brake new highs for Ferrari in acceleration (about 3.0 sec 0-60 sprint) and topspeed (about 230 or 240 MPH).

So what else do we know about Enzo successor? Any information is anticipated in this thread.

It won't look as good as the Enzo.

+1 I think they should stick with the V12. No RHD means I am highly unlikely to see one which makes it quite dissapointing, one would think at the price level they could also cater for RHD only markets.....

If they are pushing to get it out before CO2 regs my money would be on a V12. The V8TT sounds like the post regs solution.

......and hopefully it will look NOTHING like and enzo.

Very interesting; thanks for posting. I hope they use the V12. Any idea on what it will be called?

LOL! That looks like an Enzo, Gallardo, Scuderia and the P4/5, all combined into one.

Five reasons why an Enzo is better than a woman:

    1. You can have more than one and they don't hate each other or stop letting you drive them.

    2. An Enzo doesn't look at the P4/5 and say, "Do you wish I looked like that?"

    3. Your friends with Enzos have no problems with you looking or even being inside of their Enzos.

    4. Your white friends don't give you crap because you like the black ones.

    5. You don't have to go through some big song and dance every time you want to get into the 'cockpit'.

I hope the car is TT 8 and is 1100kilos and smaller in size. I hope the era of overweight oversized supercars is finally coming to an end and we will again get a car that is huge fun to actually drive on the road.

Of course RHD will not be offered just like all supercars before unless you are the Sultan and get Pinaf to do a one-off

So, what the report is saying is absolutely nothing new, or newsworthy? Am I getting this right?

concept renderings that come out years ahead of the car's release almost always look nothing like the car
