I wanted to go next week but am now reconsidering... with all the green-ness going on this year, I don't know if it's worth going to see a bunch of Prius copies... Has anyone been before?
Tim, who chairs/founded this club? I know it doesn't cost much but what are the perks as we can always sms each other out for drives @ our own pleasure & go dutch as usual.
well they are very selective .. and maybe they heard about you speaking of new Porsches .. I saw they're releasing a Turbo S .. 30 extra BHP over the standard turbo & 0-100km/h in JUST 3.3secs! It also comes standard with pretty much all the options I'd want .. but at what price? They haven't released that bit yet. comon Tim be honest .. he doesn't have the "right stuff"
My recommendation is to get only 07 or younger. Anything before that the F1 transmission is not very good. Or else go manual.
I thought it was an exclusive club and its by invitation the chairman only? Of course you can invite la since you are in the buku merah
An extract from the Power Warranty handbook "In order to join the program: - the vehicle must be inspected by the Official Ferrari Service Network in order to certify its eligibility, in compliance with the requirements established by the Factory, as well as its service history (i.e., service coupons, ordinary and extraordinary maintenance). - the vehicle must not exceed 90,000km (approx. 56,000 miles); - the vehicle must not have been involved in serious accidents, been tampered with, stolen or used in races."
Yes, that's one of the reason i sold mine & there's a manual unit but I can't afford it Let me see, for the earliest cars it could be lower. Was @ the CNY dinner & there's so many of them, the entire front of Oriental was "littered" with Lambos esp the V12s & some had to park in the carpark. I think that's why Tiong refuses to jump
Actually you have corrected me. I was at the Frankfurt show in 2007 not 08. Yes the Scuderia was launched there.
Really?? Thought there's more F than L cars here. I did see a 599 & 16M plus a few 360 etc. but the attendance was huge compared to previous year. The mood of the dinner was quite different from Ferrari. More local flavoured & the bond among owners is quite different as well. L is like Hainanese chicken rice & F like foie gras
I thought that's what you meant .. amazing that you can go to the factory preview & then can't get into the Ferrari booth at the show .. bizzare
8 Lambo owners went to Ita Auto to try and book 458, to which they were given a calendar year and more...
I think you meant the old F club. The new club is very different... totally different mix of members including some Lambo owners.
