What's the best place to get a speed sensor for the 348? (i.e. speedometer sending unit, vehicle speed sensor, speed sender unit, etc.)

www.ferrariparts.co.uk has the anti-turn over valve Part no. 139568 (Fuel Line Valve) for 53 GBP which is about $85. Beats the domestic sources by a lot!

I just bought one New In Box from a salvage yard in Rancho Cordova for $40 including shipping. I found it on eBay. I was about to buy one from the guys in England, but it always pays to check ebay right before you pull the trigger!!

    Guys,

I know this is the wrong forum for a 550 Maranello question, but since you are discussing similar topics to what I am adressing in "Technical Q&A" section, perhaps someone out there can advise me:

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=270351

Does anyone know if there are equivilent SKF (or any other manufacturer) for the marked two pulleys for my 550 Maranello -00 ?
    Part numbers ?
If not, who in Europe is the best supplior / least expensive ?
    Kind regards Anders

I just tried to order an evap canister from Dennis McCann. He lists it for $225. They are all gone and will not be back. Not at that price anyway. They quoted me $750. I am going to find another source or figure out how to reload the darn thing with fresh carbon. Will report.

512, it looks like there might be a hole (or some sort of worn spot) in your CV boot. Maybe it's just the camera angle...???

Any one know where to get Tie Rods? (steering arm)
Ferrari will supply only a complete rack.

    Thanks, Mike.

The 348/355 secondary air valve (Ferrari part nbr 148.494) can be easily orderered from Pierburg's car parts resellers.

The secondary air valve is the little anti by-pass valve just above the header/manifold.
It gets easily toated by the heat of the header.

I have been quoted 428,40 euros from my local F dealer, £ 408,90 (+/- 481 euros) from Eurospares UK and $381,95 (+/- 279 euros) from Ricambi.

I got it for 48,00 euros!!!! See attached picture with Pierburg's reference.

    Hi everyone!
for those who have cracked/broken seat recline levers on their 348s, you are probably aware that these are NLA from Ferrari ... from what I can tell, there were 2 different kinds used on US spec cars ; shorter ones for the coupe and somewhat longer ones for the spider. The good news is that the levers from 355 spiders will work on 348s as well... part numbers 63998500 and 93998600 should replace the pair and look correct for the car. They arent cheap at $125.79 each but at least there is a solution. Ricambi has them available.
I guess Im posting on the right thread as this is an interchange of parts from different models, and the Ferrari dealership was not aware of this useful solution
