the diablo clutch was not much heavier than the testa or the mondial n the diablo had power steering, n brutish acceleration and of course the doors!.mondial n 308 are very fun n nimble .tho power lacking,sheer pleasure of driving that gated shifter makes up for it
Toto and I were dueling on track. Very fun. Derek was caught in the middle too hahaha Toto is very fast. he did 2.29 today. I was behind him... I must ask him what my time was. He clocked me. The Scuderia is very good... very balanced and very fast.
Yeah there were a couple of fast runs today but think no one could excel as the track was just too busy to get a clean run. Yup toto did 2.29 as did Ron (with a passenger in the car!). Smoothie didnt time himself today. Would have been great to have had a clear track and get Vex, Kin, Fong and Rockstar out with you all.... I think there would have been a fair few awesome times!!! NOTE TO SMOOTHIE: 40 cars is too many!!!! Frustrated the heck out of me to have a stupid gearbox issue right from the get go.... I was running third gear and neutral half the time, smoothie was wondering why i was running with my hazards on the whole time and even coasting in neutral through turn 3 and being forced to use 2nd gear around 7 and 8 as I could not engage any other gear for that moment... what a crap track day for me... like driving a tip that wouldnt let me choose the right gears.... I was just waiting for the car to completely not allow me to engage any gears.... which it finally did.... bless its little German soul. I am still awaiting confirmation that it is anywhere near Singapore at this very moment...
err .. wat happened? they said you did a 2:32 right? that M3 & M5 sandwich was ridiculous .. I just didn't trust the M5 driver under brakes & he was incredibly unpredictable .. at one stage he was up my ass coming into turn 15 and I actually ran past the apex becoz I was worried that if I turned in he'd T-bone me. other than that incident it was a fun day despite arriving a little late
that's good to hear ... & speaking or arriving in one piece, i had one heck of a day yesterday ... as u may know, 1000's of flights were disrupted in NYC due to another freakin blizzard ... & i was to fly in ... did the next best thing ... wasted the whole day at the damn airport ... TRYING to get info on who will be the 1st to fly in once things settle down ... what a disaster ... i was sh!tbagged all the way ...
