    we need a couple yellow nylock nuts that measure M8x1 with 14mm across the flats and a height of 10.5mm. everything I can find is only 13mm across the flats with a height of 9mm. I have contacted all the usual suspects and no ones has these. Does anyone have a good source for these?

    These are for the fuel tank straps. We will need 4 total. Even if they were used but in good condition would be great!!

    Might have to call them. They seem to specialize in this type of stuff. Pricy but if you really need them and only 4 at that might be worth a call.

    Thanks for the response- I have talked to Neil @ Newco about these with no luck. I have tried all the usual suspects here in the states with out any luck either. I've even tried a few other resto shop hoping and they too do not have any. I have tried a few placing overseas but again.......zero. I will not post anything without doing my homework per say.

    Speaking of straps. How are you going to restore them? I was told they came from the factory blued.

    Found three yellow nylocks in my hardware stash....
