Questions for you Lambo Gurus, LP640 Armrest

Hi guys, been looking at the pictures of LP640s, I've noticed a few different styles of arm rest, seems like some has one type of style with an ashtray looking thing at the front, some doesn't. is that an option or?? I thought it could be a Euro/USA version thing, but does appear to be so.

The one with the ashtray is an "option" it is called the smokers package. With it you get the ashtray as well as a REAL cigarette lighter..

With out this option the cigarette lighter is pluged with a plastci cap, you can still use it for 12V for radar, phone charger etc etc...you just dont get the lighter.

 

i dislike my ashtray. it's always popping open when you hit it while resting your arm while driving. and it seems cheaply made.

i would rather not have had that option.

 

You can remove the ash tray, order the arm rest piece in the longer non version ash tray one from your local L dealr and install it in 5 minutes...

 

Can you do the opposite?

My '04 had the ashtray which I used to put my cell phone in and now my '09 has the full armrest with no ashtray. I have seen them with carbon frame and ashtray as well. What is available?

 

Good question..I would think so as the frame is the same..??
