Them pants were crazy. Norway had a great olympics for a small population. Only one more thing we want...hockey gold. Going to be crazy today if we win.

Good luck to you on the hockey medal, it seems it's a big sport for your guys.

Yeah, we do pretty well. 4th place in terms of gold medals and only beaten by the giants (Canada, US and Germany). We got our 100th gold medal earlier in this Olympics, that's pretty awesome for a nation of 4 million people :)

I used to curl a lot in an organized league back in the late 70's and early 80's......they used to have an open bar at each end of the ice in our curling club, and we'd nurse a beer during each end.......for some reason I got better as the game progressed....and some others got worse. Kinda even'd things out.

Its a good sport. Cheryl Bernard blew it big time though. She was thinking more about her looks than winning.

I thought the same thing. Silver is nothing to be ashamed about but wasting two chances to win gold is probably upsetting. Regardless congrats to both men and women.

P.S I was well would really like a pair of those Norway pants!

It was tough to see them lose that, they had the gold in the tip of their fingers and then lost it....congrats to the Swedes though, they did not give up and fought back for a well deserved gold medal victory.

    Here's a question of curling's historical origin....which came first:

The curling?....or the beer ? LOL

IMHO the only way one could have ever invented a game like curling is to have already drank a lot of beer beforehand.

    Same goes for golf........:D

To me, curling is for women who want to play "ironing" or "sweeping" outdoors...:)

Golf: I only found out about this game when Tiger Woods made some news. It seems that golfing attracts chicks...so I may have to give it a try one of these days...;)
