A friend of mine was driving home on Saturday in his Lotus and turned onto Australian from Okeechobee and was almost hit by a minivan that cut across the road. He swerved one way and went into the grass and he said a Lambo was in front of him and swerved the other way to avoid it too and hit a wall.

My friend is waiting to see what the insurance company says about his car. He had to get a ton of dirt and sand out of the wheel wells and rear diffuser. It looks like a large rock hit the side underneath the door and cracked some of the fiberglass and dented the bottom of the car a little bit, but he said the alignment is OK, its just that the fiberglass area that is damaged is part of the tub for the car and he is afraid it requires a whole new tub to be installed on the car just to fix the damaged and dented area.

Anyone know about the Lambo and if the driver and car were OK?

We did not see the accident on the way home. It was very interesting trying to get out of downtown WPB. Between some of the exotics and POS that were weaving from lane to lane. It was amazing that there were not more issues.

and YES YES YES, that guy was a real ********* in a black mercedes s550 on the drive up to wpb. Bill B and myself were commenting on that issue as well.

Did you ever get your 360 F1 pump motor rebuild?

I ended up getting a new pump based on the cost difference (rebuilt vs new)

thanks again for taking the time to discuss with me the options
