    Guys,

Getting the cars out tomorrow sounds like a great idea. I just spoke to John Vogt, owner of High Marques, and he is happy to have us start a drive at his place. So let's meet there at 9 am and leave by 9:30 for a drive. The address is:

    169 Washington Street
    Morristown, NJ

This is just west of the Green in Morristown on Route 24.

Pls let me know if you plan to attend as we'll get a few refreshments and would like a count. See you tomorrow.

Unfortunately, I'm not a Ferrari owner, but I would LOVE to join someone as a co-pilot for this small "rally" tomorrow morning. Better yet, if you have multiple Ferraris, I would be happy to "rent" one of them from you for the drive, hahhaha. Seriously though, if any of you kind, generous Ferrari owners would be nice enough to let a 28yrs old, tifosi, join you for the drive tomorrow, I would gladly pay for gas or whatever you need (within reason). Thanks for your time and feel free to email me, [email protected] or PM me. Grazie mille! Ciao!

I was thinking about driving around for a couple of hours at most. I thought we would just play follow-the-leader. This time I don't have a specific route planned. We can discuss it as a group and see if we want to end up some place for lunch, for example. Just a reason to get the cars out on the road, really -- not a formal rally with a defined route per se. I hope you can make it.

Today was absolutely fantastic. According to my car, it hit 60 degrees today!

Ah, spring is in the air!

Took an S400 Hybrid up to Piermont and took in what the town had to offer. Great weather and a great drive.

Doesn't get much better than that.

Yes, had a good time. I think we had about 15 people -- 3 Ferrari's, a bunch of Porsche's and a Ford GT. Beautiful day for a drive. Hopefully we'll see you on Saturday at Cars & Croissants.

Speaking of Jacob's ladder, a little history lesson. The reason the road is laid out like that with hill, flat part, hill, flat part, etc is that before cars, horses pulling carriages needed a place to rest on the way up the hill. When the town recently re-paved it, they decided to keeep it that way instead of making a smooth hill because of the historical significance.

Of course - a more interesting story comes the book Weird New Jersey. You may have seen a stone building off to the right as we were heading down Jacobs ladder -- it has no windows or doors. According to legend, that is the Devil's house. The bumps in the road on Jacobs Ladder are supposedly where the Devil has buried various bodies. A little spooky given that I live right around the corner...
