Yes bro. The Testarossa was also about 1 million back in 1990 but now @ sub $100K. We're all losing money to banks if u take loan, govt taxes, dealer's profit, coe, maintenance & not to mention the road taxes & insurance. What u have left is just the body value plus perceived extras to keep it here. Geez I'm beginning to sound like an accountant
mate, i just came all over my keyboard! that's a gorgeous car... if you start counting the dollars, nothing ever makes sense financially...
Hmm yeh to be honest Maranello haven't officially confirmed it as yet but plenty of car sites & magazines have a Q1 or Gevena Motorshow target for the lauch which is pretty common for Ferrari to rotate launches between Frankfurt & Geneva. When I spoke to Felisa all he said was "early 2011" to which I said "Gevena?" and & smiled & nodded. That was good enough for me. Besides a Gevena 2011 launch will give a nice gap before the rumoured launch of the Enzo replacement in 2012. I know that car! It was the initial reason why I signed up to fchat. I was considering it & sort the advice of the masters and if I remember correctly Jon you talked me out of it. Someone else also accused me of being a full of **** troll becoz they didn't believe I cud upgrade to a 575 from a Maserati. you can say that about many things in life, and life is too short to keep on counting
I thought they were also supposed to offer this horrid little thing known as the Toyota Cygnet to all existing owners too. http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsArticle/AllCars/245953/ "The Aston Cygnet will be built in Gaydon, using iQs built in Japan and specially imported to the UK for the purpose. The Gaydon factory has a flexible layout that will allow a Cygnet finishing line to be installed without disruption to present Aston models." Seems like a very appropriate place to build the car...
