Ok guys Im debating whether or not to add the stripe to my Stradale. What are your thoughts? My only concern is that my stradale is rosso scuderia and the red in the aftermarket stripe is a different shade of red.........will I have toooooo much going on?

Also can you put it over existing 3m?

    Thanks
    Chas

Can you get the red in the stripe in Rosso Scuderia???

I personally think a Strad is nothing without the stripe.

The stripe is what makes the car.

Not sure about the 3M part though.

I believe the 3M is replaced every so often once enough rock chips are gathered and you you'd then have to remove stripe before the 3M. I believe it would just be easier to put stripe under it.

A stripe would be nice but not essential (IMO). It is a wonderful car as is.
The CS... what a machine. Your CS... AWESOME!

If you are going to stripe it go about it the right way. Do whatever it take to do it right the first time so that it's perfect. You deserve it done right.

I have aftermarket stripes on my black CS. Done prior to my ownership. The whole front of the car was clearshielded by Premier, with the stripe applied over it. I saw a yellow CS at C and C in Dallas yesterday with the same treatment.

The stripe from 360performance is a great aftermarket stripe and the red is not all that different.. It can be applied over the 3m film. I vote yes for the stripe!

You might be interested to know that 80% of our CS Stripes go on the real thing.
Wether you go with the Stripe or not, it was nice to see the process confirmed, the Stripe should go on top of the clear bra.:)
That is also why we supply two hood segments, if you drive it, you're going to get stone chips and although the high gloss clear coat is pretty tough, it's not bullet proof and neither is the bra.:)
Imagine how much more difficult it would be to touch up bad stone chips on a factory Stripe.:D
Anyway, if you don't like this, you can always take it off.:D
    Ciao

    No stripe!

I'm not really a fan of any stripes, but IMO the CS stripe is just a whimpy attempt by Ferrari at trying to take a totally cool car look stupid. The front end of the stripe reminds me of an Italian smiley face. Eeek. At least the Scuderia has a cool stripe..if you like stripes.

I'd be concerned that over the years, the paint will fade differently underneath the stripe. If you after a few years decide to remove the stripe, you might end up with a two tone car. I'm wondering how my venture shield will affect the paint in the long run, since I don't have it on the roof, rear and sides. I'm probably going to wrap the rest of the car just to make sure.

P.S The stripe does look great on red cars. Have you inquired whether O.E.M stripes come in scuderia?

    for me:

    Stripes = CS
    no Stripes = base model

    (same goes for the Scuderia)

I see how you may feel that way but a CS is irrefutably a CS with or without a stripe. That is why Ferrari made it an option (one of the few). It is a CS for far greater reasons than a stripe (you know that ;-) ).

    Stripe? No! :)

I am baffled by why anyone would want any stripe on any car, let alone one so naturally beautiful as the 360/CS. One step away from flames on the side and a confederate flag on the roof.
