anyone know the l'pool vs wigan result?

Would have thought a Chelsea fan would have stopped looking at Liverpool's results on the opening day of the season. I have a lots of 'Liverpool' fans, not heard from them much this season, i guess they have buggered off back to Norway and Sweden, tails between their legs.

Despite Chelsea's and Terry's best efforts to screw it up, you'll still win the league.

 

They are struggling to get in a position to be able to sack their own manager !!!!

 

Wonder if Stevie G Laa will get an FA hearing for telling the ref to 'f**k off" and sticking two fingers up at him when he was booked last night.

No doubt the cheating, violent little runt will get a pat on the back from the FA

 

Steven Gerrard has been told he will not be punished for apparently aiming a
V-sign at referee Andre Marriner at the DW Stadium on Monday.

FA chiefs have looked at the incident, following Gerrard’s 82nd-minute booking in Liverpool's 1-0 defeat by lowly Wigan, but decided not to take it any further after consulting Marriner.

It is understood the Birmingham official indicated before leaving the ground he was aware of the incident but did not intend including it in his report.

The FA shared his view that it was a momentary show of frustration at the prospect of a ninth Barclays Premier League defeat this season for Liverpool, and that the matter could be dropped.

Television pictures showed the Liverpool skipper apparently raising two fingers towards Marriner and mouthing an obscenity following his caution for a reckless challenge.

Manager Rafa Benitez said he did not see the incident, which happened on the far side of the pitch, while club officials strenuously denied Gerrard had done anything untoward.



One rule for them, different rules for everyone else , as per. FA really are corrupt.

 

I was up at Anfield the other day, and there were 10 season tickets nailed to the gates, I thought I'm having them .........

Hey Rick, hows things? I'm good ta ! Had a quick look on 6th Gear yesterday, you guys got yourself a big truck i see ! Good stuff ! I'm guessing its all going well. Haven't seen Simon for a while.

You might disagree, but i think, with everyone fully fit, Everton have a better squad than Liverpool. Had we not had such horrendous injury problems for 6 months, i think the two clubs would be very even, even if Torres had been fully fit all season. I also think there is far more potential in the Everton squad. Our only problem being that we cannot hang onto players that are at the top of their game.

David Moyes had worked miracles at Everton, i'd love to see what Mourinho, Benitez etc could have done with no money, not able to offer serious wages and having to sell to buy.

 

Wigan won 1-0.

 

Nice to see Gerrard only got a talking to for elbowing the back of Michael Browns head last night !!! Cracking stuff.
