Not sure about the new blue; they should have brought back LeMans Blue instead. Z07 option sounds like the way to go.
    Thanks for sharing!

pretty cool. Im guessing it will be a hair lighter then a z06 with the giant brakes and magnetic suspension... sounds like a good time to me

They have a LeMans Blue, but it seems to be darker than the old color. I'm partial to Marina Blue, or Nassua Blue.

The exterior isn't much a strong point either. It's a very basic shape, I wish it would have a bit more finesse, some more sophisticated, nuanced elements. It's lazy styling carried over from the 80s. Other sports cars look like small toys, jewel-like. Vettes look like big blobs.

I love the exterior. The best exteriors are simple elegant shapes like the P3/4

the c6 z06 is one of the best looking cars avalible right now IMHO...

If you can look past the blinding chevy emblem its a very exotic/sexy/appresive shape

I would love to see the orange. The 1969 Monaco Orange was one of my favorites.

I hope that there is some difference in weight. Wonder what the price will be?

    What blinding Chevy emblem?

I have a C6 and there is no Chevy emblem anywhere on the car. The C6 is one of the best looking cars around - the design department hit a home run with the this body style. I get compliments on the car constantly. The Z06 with the widebody and wider tires is even better IMO - nice and aggressive. Great car - been my DD for about a year now and $0 in repairs.

I have seen a pic of the orange and would hate orange stitching. Probably just better to get the Z07 with the color exterior you want.

Great looking car. That's the car I would prefer over a stock Z06 or a ZR1.

I doubt it. Govt Motors wont invest $ in a new Corvette, probably till 2013 or so.

I've been hearing future Z06 will have a 5.5 engine

I'd guess they use the same chassis w a slightly refreshed body

sounds like that, I like NA better than FI anyways

A roadster would be excellent but the ZR1 & Z06 probably have too much power for the roadster as it could cause the windshield to brake from the torque. Thats the issue GM had last time they tried to do a ZR1 roadster back in the 90s

The Grandsport is a step between the base Vette & the Z06. GM does build GS roadsters
