    This is driving me nuts!

When is Jeremy going to test drive the 458?

Does anyone know if he did a video already?

    Thanks.

Seriously, that was the most uninformative article I have ever read. You mean to tell me that he has access to the car, and couldn't find a defrosted place to test drive it? Shenanigans.

yes, this article was a joke. I am happy I got the magazine for free on a flight...
Anyway, when you drive a car by yourself, you end up often with very different conclusion on which car you like than in magazines

For sure, totally agreed. There are certain things that you can glean from an editorial review of a car, but mostly it's a very personal thing.

For one thing, complaining about the control ergonomics of a car the first time you get in is a bit strange. Every car I have ever had took a bit to get used to, manufacturers love playing around with control placement. And come on, it's a supercar, unless the controls are on the rear quarter panel, he is missing the bigger picture ;)

(I was talking about the online TimesOnline article by the way, sorry should have been more clear). After hearing about the top gear mag I am glad I didn't see it, I would have bought it.

Yea, I actually saw that. Shame really that they are spiraling downward, there are not many other alternatives to that type of show (at least not here in the US)

There is a ray of hope in that they've had a very critical reaction to the last series on their website and Andy Wilman actually responded, so it means they did, at the least, take note. We now have to hope they do something about it for the next series.

So it premieres again in June/July on domestic BBC, anyone happen to know if the same holds true for us here in the US w/BBC America?
