I found their site (UK) and seem to have a nice choice of mats with horse and Ferrari - but not embroidered - inlayed. Anyone ordered or heard of this company?
    They do ship to U.S. I have a 87 328GTS

Haven't heard of them, but I have ordered two sets of mats from LLoyds. They are a US company, have a good variety of options and the quality of both sets I received is outstanding. Have them in both my F-car and my P-car.

I considered Lloyds but they do not incorporate the horse or Ferrari word any longer. I just checked and Ferrari is not listed on their home page as a choice. I know they were quality mats.

My bad. I forgot that Ferrari did not give (read:$$$) LLoyds the rights to use their logo or name. The mats in my F-car are plain, but the mats in my P-car say 911 SC.

    Sorry.

I ordered a set of mats from them in November and I love them. They are black with the tan inlaid horse. Here is a crappy pic, but you get the idea. In person, the color matches my interior almost perfectly. (87 328GTS as well)
Also, I believe they are in the US and not UK.

wow - I actually found someone - cool. Thank you so much for taking the time for the pic. I like the fact they are sending me samples as I have the camel color interior and there is 2 choices. I am checking e-bay as well and then make the decision.
My car is white with black top and accents
Selecting the horse and the word Ferrari for mine. I saw the brit flag so I assumed in UK.
Did you place over existing carpet or did you go for having them incorporate the snaps?

I never thought about asking them to incorporate the snaps. That would have been a pretty good idea if they can do it. I just laid the mats over the original carpet (like you would do in any regular car) and used a set of Birdman's Mat Grabbers to hold them in place.

Kewl: I thought that by at least admitting my mistake, the post would serve as a bump to your earlier message that no one was responding to........and it worked!

It's nice to see Lloyd making mats for Ferraris again. That's a nice looking mat, Mike. Nice detail in the horse.

    Here's mine (Lloyd ca. 1980):

Here's the deal with ferrari floor mats......

The licensing fee that ferrari charges to various manufacturers is shocking - have heard it usually ranges between $100 and $125 per set of mats. Other manufacturers will license rights for between free to $50 set. It somewhat depends on the nature of the license contract with the mat manufacturer but the bottom line is that ferrari charges four or five times what other manufacturers charge for a license fee. Typical Ferrari BS.

There's a group that makes these floor mats in Brazil (Sao Paulo I believe) and then ships them to distributors in the US who keep very low profiles. I bought a set from a Miami-based distributor (PO Box, no full names, no business name/address, etc.) for about $150 a couple years ago. I have no doubt they're not paying a license fee to Ferrari, and hiding behind offshore (Brazil) operations to try to avoid suit by Ferrari. They look exactly like the mats in this posting:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FERRARI-308-328-348-FLOOR-MAT-SET-2-PCS_W0QQitemZ140388754868QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item20afd265b4

Of course, now Ferrari will come after me for driving around with non-licensed mats and file suit against me to make an example of me (with lots of intentional publicity supplied by their PR folks). You think that's crazy? Not so crazy, that's exactly the type of tactic Ferrari would employ. Incidentally, that's the tactic the music industry took to try to pressure people who were downloading non-licensed music from the web...and it worked.

Why not go with Keith Collins mats? They're still the gold standard.

Those mats that Cliffbeer shows are the same style as mine. I got red carpeting with a full-color embroidered shield in the middle. However, I paid quite a lot more than $169 for mine. I put them over the existing set of mats for more sound deadening and easy removal. I also like Miketuason's (Lloyd's prancing horse design) mats because they have a deep crisp cut between colors.

World Upholstery also has logo mats... and carpet sets, seat fabric etc. Got good service from them. Not sure of current pricing on the mats... they give prices by email, usually same or next day responses.

(std caveat.. I have no relationship with them)

If Lloyd is making logo mats, it's news to me. I deal with a VP there, and have not heard it. Are you certain these were not embroidered somewhere else "post-production" ?

Lloyd is extremely careful with copyright and trademark infringement. They are too large of an operation to risk such a suit, for a market as small and insignificant as Ferrari. (really, compared to their GM and import brands, Ferrari is an afterthought in terms of production capabilities)

if mike paid $245 for those lloyd's mats, they likely are licensed.

most lloyds logo mats are something like $125. So he'd paying an an additional $120, which one presumes is for the licensing fee.

Wow they look real nice - better check out Lloyds before proceeding. Thinking it's easier to shop for fine Tequila than Ferrari mats :)

I recently ordered a set of mats for my 328 with the shield logo from europeanfloormats.com. The mats arrived and look quite good. Unfortunately, the color was off. They did send out color samples for me to review before my purchase, however, I have to say that the sample did not match exactly with what actually came and I wish I had gone a shade darker. I tried to exchange and offered to pay shipping/restocking fee but they were unwilling. They did offer to let me purchase another set at a discount but I decided to go with another vendor with better cutomer service. If anyone is interested in a set of band new 3x8 mats in "Dark Camel" (PL-85) with the Ferrari shield logo you can have them for $150 shipped in the cont. US (They'll cost you $169 +$25 shipping from the website.)

Mike, do you mind saying where you got those mats at?
